Hi Kate, so sorry you had to switch party venues in the middle. This is such a great way to celebrate your 25th book, hope everyone finds you here. Reading people's descriptions of real parties and gatherings makes me want to break out the champagne, but hearing about the floods and bombs in the UK is another issue entirely. Hope everyone - authors, readers, friends and family - is okay.

In the days when I wore mini skirts so short that the photographs shock my daughter, I wore a man's shirt to a party. Sadly I didn't look anywhere near as good as that woman in "conditioner" advert on the TV.
