It will all have blown over by Saturday. I sincerely hope so, as we are booked for a long distance flight on Sunday and I do not relish the thought of being stranded at the airport.Miss Bougiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00739299321671870608noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-23204407.post-68147981861117843162009-12-17T17:06:29.170+00:002009-12-17T17:06:29.170+00:00As you say, Kate - excellent news. So my husband was late for work and the kids rolled into school at 9.30am. Shock, horror! But the point of this somewhat circuitous tale is that, stumbling out to the car in a frantic rush, I found the windowscreen thick in ice and had to spend an extra five minutes scraping it before we could even leave!

The first really hard frost of the season would strike on the day when we're incredibly late. Natch!

And we're apparently due snow here in Warwickshire today or tomorrow. My father, who lives in Provence half the year, is back off to his hill village there soon. Though it can be cold even in Provence at this time of year, so I suppose Grrr would be an inappropriate response to that!Victoria Lambhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12815205146430944184noreply@blogger.com
